NYC to South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Tanzania (and quick stop in Kenya)
We made to Africa and home again. We had great intentions to share our trip in real time but found Wi-Fi hard to come by. So we unplugged for a month and savored the moments: waking up at 5:30 each day to see every single sunrise, mid-day rest and fun with the family, evening drives and watching every single sunset over the most beautiful horizons. We did game drives every day and never tired of it. We didn’t stay in one place for more than 3 days so each drive was with different guides in new settings to appreciate, and we managed to learn something new every single day. Of course, the luxury accommodations, the delicious prepared meals, the laundry that I didn’t have to wash or fold just added to this incredible experience. Now that we’re back, we are enjoying looking though pictures and happy to share our vacation. And it took a surprising amount of time to remember how to publish this blog so enjoy.
